Our Story

Fragrance is emotion, bottled.

At Stay, we craft scents that linger — not to impress, but to become part of you. Each fragrance is a quiet dialogue between memory and identity, designed to live with you and evolve over time.

Founded by Nikunj Taneja and Pulkit Sharma, both certified perfumers from the Asia Perfume Foundation and the Hong Kong School of Perfumery, Stay is the culmination of years spent studying, experimenting, and falling in love with the art of scent.

We are originally from Gurugram, Haryana. Our story began when we moved to Hong Kong for our bachelor’s degrees — what was meant to be an education became an awakening. Surrounded by culture, contrast, and craftsmanship, we discovered that fragrance could be more than luxury — it could be language.

After seven years in Hong Kong, aptly named "Fragrant Harbor" in Chinese, we decided to return home with a purpose: to build Stay — a modern Indian fragrance house rooted in authenticity, emotion, and craft.

Each composition is crafted meticulously, drop by drop, blending precision with poetry. We work with rare, high-quality ingredients and develop our scents through an approach we call slow perfumery — where formulas are refined over months, not days.

What began as an idea between two friends has become a growing community of over 1,000 customers who share our love for quiet luxury and honest craftsmanship. From small batches to signature collections, every bottle carries our belief that scent should feel deeply personal — never mass-made.
